The Witcher franchise started off as a collection of loosely connected dark Low/Heroic Fantasy short stories which deconstructed classic Fairy Tales and then evolved into a series of (so far) eight novels with a strong myth arc. Throghout the years, the franchise has been adapted to other mediums such as tabletop RPGs, comics and TV shows.

However, the franchise started gaining widespread attention in the English-speaking world in 2007 with the release of The Witcher, a video game adaptation-slash-sequel by the then-unknown Polish developer studio, CD Projekt RED and it was a process that reached its peak with the widely-claimed masterpiece of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. Ever since then, English translations of the original novels have followed.

As a fantasy world, the franchise is filled with loads and loads of female characters, many of them strong and powerful in their own right. Now, you can finally achieve your naughty dreams of despoiling the child of the Elder Blood, or enjoy a romantic tumble with plenty of redheads, elves and other interesting individuals!
