Ultimecia, as stated, is the main antagonist of the game, something you don't learn until well into the plot. She is a Sorceress from the distant future bent on achieving Time Compression, a powerful magic that would fuse all aspects of past, present and future into one single static point, with her as the sole divine being above all others. Deliciously evil, certainly.

In terms of appearance, Ultimecia sports a voluptuous body with generous curves, flowing silver hair with two long bangs that frame her face while everything else is gathered with a headdress into two horns. She also has yellow eyes surrounded by purple eyeshadow and wears deep red lipstick. Her skin is heavily tattooed with lined patterns and her hands and feet have a bestial look to them.

In terms of clothing, Ultimecia wears a skin-tight red gown with a plunging neckline that exposes most of her frontside (neck, chest, stomach and abdomen) and only partially obscures her breasts. A collar made of black feathers extends down the neckline to her waist; the collar rests over her shoulders and covers the junction of her black feathered wings. The dress has a short train, which drags along the floor. Long red sleeves with prominent shoulder pads join with her purple taloned hands.

And as for personality, she is usually regarded as a malevolent and manipulative Sorceress, using others to accomplish her goals. Despite this, Ultimecia has quite the strategic and diplomatic mind, being able to persuade and convince people to see things her way if needed. She also has a demanding sense of style as the interior of her castle was decorated with faux-Victorian opulence, for example.
