Preparing for big spenders

Kai watched the employees work while she stood attentively with a clipboard. They were hosting several of the most wealthy customers at their resort this week, and were setting up a fine dining experience.

"Chop chop everyone!" Kai commanded. "We only have three hours until the guests arrive, and everything has to be perfect! I don't need to tell you how important this is to us!"

Everyone was already rushing as fast as they could, but tried to appear to be going even faster with their work. They were all terrified of Kai, who was infamous for ruthlessly firing employees at any perceived failing.

"Excuse me?" Kai turned to see Lani, the head performer standing before her. Lani was wearing the outfits Kai had chosen: grass skirts and coconut bras with nothing else. Kai had even banned underwear while preforming, since she said 'seeing your thong will break customer immersion.

"Yes? What is it?" Kai said, annoyed at the interruption.

"It's just... there's problems with the new uniforms." Lani said nervously.

"Problems? What problems?"

"Well, the skirts are rather flimsy, and the tops keep coming undone." Lani explained.

"So?" Kai said.

"So? While we're dancing we might end up flashing everyone!"

"That sounds like we'd be providing the customers a once in a lifetime traditional Hawaiian experience." Kai grinned rather wickedly.

Lani viewed the dancers as the absolute bottom of the totem pole, and reserved much of her ire for them. She thought the idea of making your money shaking your ass as comically beneath her.

"But... but..." Lani stammered.

"But nothing." Kai interrupted. "You wear the uniforms the company provided for you, or you don't have a job."

Kai checked her watch.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to shower and get dressed before the customers get here." Kai said. "Try not to mess anything up."
