Prehistoric Period

"Ouch!" Charlotte yelped as she hit the ground with a thud.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes. The sudden bright light had come out of nowhere and blinded her. Her eyes opened slowly. After adjusting to the light, she was shocked by what she saw first. She was NAKED!!! Everything that she wore was all gone! Her whole business attire (her white blouse, her black jacket, black office pants, black pointed heels, and her underwear) all gone! She was naked from her head down to her bare toes! With nothing on she quickly covered her exposed intimates without a second thought.

She looked around and couldn't believe what she saw. It looked as if she was in the middle of a large rainforest! The weather was noticeably hot and humid, which was one of the first things Charlotte noticed. Even though the forest provided shade for protection from the sun, the heat was unbearably brutal. A couple of drops of sweat formed on her head. She must've been deep in the forest because all she saw were trees, plants, and bushes. Not to mention, these were the biggest trees she'd ever seen. Where was she? And how did she end up here?

Suddenly, she heard and felt rumbling, almost as if the whole earth was shaking. Feeling scared, Charlotte got on her knees, curious where that rumbling was coming from.

“What the hell is that?” Charlotte questioned.

The rumbling didn’t stop. It kept happening in a slow rhythm. In fact, the rumbling was getting louder!!! It was actually getting closer!!! As the rumbling got louder, she looked up and saw that there were large birds flying away from the rumbling. Charlotte looked around frantically, trying to find the source of the sound, until she felt her heart sank. She couldn’t believe what she saw. In front of her, stomping towards her was an extinct creature that walked on this earth millions of years ago and she never thought she would ever see one in her life. It was a Tyrannosaurus rex!!! And it was walking towards her! Charlotte froze out of fear as it came towards her slowly…
