As a paladin, Gallarth got his power from praying to a deity; in his case, he's a paladin representing Lux, the goddess of light.
"Concha, I need you to leave this room to pray to the goddess, please. I need some privacy so I can pray to Lux" Gallarth explained.
Concha nodded and respectfully left the room. As she did, Gallarth bowed down and put his hands in a praying position.
"Please, noble, wise, and powerful Lux, I, as your humble servant, request your help with this evil curse that has deformed my body in this horrible manner. Please send me a signal for how I may return to my original form so I may serve you again as you deserve," he said, hoping his goddess may assist him in his hour of need.
