Practice makes perfect

You and Sarah finish breakfast, and make your way down to the training field. You’re greeted along the way by everyone you meet, and it surprises you how happy they seem to be to see you. They greet Sarah warmly as well, welcoming her to town.

Sarah clears things up for you. “I think you’re something of an icon to these people. Melora had talked about it during our journey. The work you’ve done has lit a fire of hope, you could say.”

You laugh. “That’s awfully dramatic.”

She grins. “You’re rubbing off on me, mister child of a god. But I’m sure Melora can explain better.”

You chuckle, and the two of you continue to the training area. When you arrive, you see Ferra and Melora still practicing. Watching them, you’re reminded how pleasant it is to watch something like this. Melora is wearing a small pair of shorts and a tight cropped top, and you admire her form as she and Ferra spar with wooden staves. Ferra, of course, is ‘wearing’ a skintight black outfit that leaves very little to the imagination. Despite the fact that you spent last night having wild sex with both of them, there’s something especially alluring about the casual, athletic outfits.

Sarah nudges you, and you see her grinning at you. “You’re going to start drooling, stud.”

You laugh. “Can you blame me?”

She shakes her head. “Not at all. I just hope I can catch you looking at me like that!”

You smile, and sneak a kiss. “I do, you just haven’t caught me yet!”

You both laugh, as Ferra and Melora finish up. Seeing you, they both walk over, Melora sheened in sweat and breathing hard. Ferra looks like she always does, but that’s not a surprise. You smile at the seer.

“Making progress?”

Melora laughs, grabbing a nearby towel and wiping her face. “I’m not tripping myself with my own staff anymore, at least!”

Ferra nods. “She is making remarkable improvement. Against a normal opponent, she could defend herself adequately.”

You nod. “Ferra does set a rather high bar. She gave a literal war goddess a run for her money.”

Melora smiles. “Thanks, Ferra. I just don’t want to be a burden.”

Ferra shakes her head. “We all contribute what we can. I fight, I protect. It is what I was made for.”

She glances at you and a gives a small smile. “Although master found some other, more pleasant things to do together.”

You blush as the girls all laugh. Melora is nice enough to let you off easy, however. “Well, I need to clean up, and then we need to meet up with Victor. Apparently there’s something he has planned.”

You nod. “I think I know what it is. I’ll go drag the sleepyheads out of bed, they should be there too.”

Sarah grins. “Careful, they might drag you in for some fun first!”

You chuckle. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”

She shakes her head. “Nope, just wishing I had thought of it first!”

You laugh and shake your head. “You’re insatiable. All of you.”

Melora kisses your cheek. “Yes we are! Get used to it, darling.”

Ferra nods. “After all, it’s your fault, master!”

You smile, and give each of them a kiss.
