After the game, the team gathers in the locker room to debrief.

“Hear hear,” Jason says, and the team voices its agreement. You can’t help but feel the game didn’t have to end up in a loss. If only you were better prepared, or in better physical condition. Ah well, nothing to do but prepare for the next match.

“Thank you, team. Now we can officially break for the day. We have an AirBnB booked for the night and we drive back tomorrow morning. Rest well, and if I do not see you tonight, I will see you at practice soon,” she says.

The team sticks around to chat a bit more. Along the way, you learn the group’s dinner plans for the evening. Daphne and her friend Nicole are planning to cook at her place nearby, while Katie and Khloe are heading to an upscale spot downtown. Jack and Javier both have their own friends on campus that they’re going to see.
