Poltergeist Activity

You decide to have a bit of fun with some subtle poltergeist activity, creating a mysterious atmosphere that will pique the interest of your new family and their neighbors. "Let's give them a little something to talk about."

You causes a few light bulbs to flicker gently, creating a soft, ethereal glow in the room. You also creates a gentle breeze that rustles the curtains, carrying with it a soft, melodic whisper that seems to come from nowhere and everywhere at once.

Chad looks around. "Did you feel that?"

Lisa responds, "It's just the house settling in, I'm sure. These old homes have a life of their own."

"This house does have a life of it's own. It's haunted," Tyler interjects.

Chloe pipes in, "He just wants to be included in the conversation."

Cherie apprehensively asks Mike and Lisa if they've heard any stories about the house or people who lived here. They assure her that there's nothing that they know about. Tyler tells them about his encounter with you in the attic before Chad interrupts. "Enough, Ty. There's no such thing as ghosts. The house isn't haunted."

Tyler is clearly annoyed at his dad for not believing him. He knows what he saw. {if Bench = 1} And his workbench didn't organize itself. {elseif ChloeMirror = 1} He looks over at Chloe, who subtly shakes her head at him. {elseif SetTable = 1} His mom looks over at him and subtly shakes her head. {endif} He wisely refrains from saying anything further.

Oh, they have no idea what's in store for them.

Shortly later, the couple makes to leave, escorted by Chad and Lisa. "We're so glad you came over," Cherie tells them. "You'll have to come for dinner once we get settled."

Lisa laughs. "In one visit it looks like I've found an assistant, a model, and a trainee! I think you'll be seeing me a lot."

"Well, you're welcome to come over any time," Chad says, shaking Mike's hand.

The couple make their goodbyes and everyone grabs some lunch before getting back to the business of settling in.
