Poison Ivy

Lauren's fall was impressive; the speed at which she went hurtling down, She lay there for a moment, her breath coming in shallow gasps as she tried to gather herself. Dirt and leaves clung to her clothes and hair, and she could already feel the pain in her arms and legs. From above, Vanessa's laughter rang out, sharp and unkind.

"Seriously, Lauren? You're such a klutz," Vanessa called down, still chuckling. "Do you need help, or are you going to lay there all day?"

As she looked around, she noticed she had landed in a patch of poison ivy. Panic started to set in. "HELP ME" she screamed, being overly dramatic as usual. She had instantly recognised the three-leaved plants surrounding her.

Vanessa made her way down the slope, her laughter growing louder as she realised Lauren's predicament. "Oh my God, Lauren! You're in poison ivy! This is too perfect!"

Lauren's cheeks burned with embarrassment and fury. "It's not funny, Vanessa. Help me out of here now!"

"Sure, sure," Vanessa said, still giggling as she grabbed Lauren's hand and helped her out of the patch. "But you have to admit, it's kind of hilarious."

"No, it's not," Lauren snapped, swatting at the leaves clinging to her clothes.

Vanessa looked at Lauren with a goofy grin, "I know a stream we have got to get you into right away, it's 2 minutes away. Come now sis, I'll help you"
