Who, where
Perks And Flaws. RSVP Writers Room
Not sure if anyone will be interested, but I may as well put the concept out there.
This would be a max 8 player game of Perks And Flaws, for simplicity sake.
Each writer would add a chapter here linearly to join the game. That chapter would be:
- To introduce their character to the group at the start of a game
- To take their characters turn and describe the events that unfold during, then hand off to the next writer at the start of their turn.
Each writer would add their name to the title of their chapter, for the sake of tracking turn order, which would be set by the order that people join in, closing at some point once enough writers have joined
So, the story map would look something like this.
- Writer 1, (character name here)
- Writer 2, (character name here)
- Writer 3, (character name here)
- Round 1, Writer 1, (Character name)'s first turn
- Round 1, Writer 2, (Character name)'s first turn
- Round 1, Writer 3, (Character name)'s first turn
- Round 2, Writer 1, (Character name)'s second turn
- Round 2, Writer 2, (Character name)'s second turn
- Round 2, Writer 3, (Character name)'s second turn
- Downtime: (possibility for branching off into what each character gets up to during the downtime, before linking back up at n.11)
- Round 3, Writer 1
And so on.
As im thinking of it, I'd say each writer would get a week, maybe two, in which to add their continuation. If they fail to, their character would be either written out with the explanation that they needed to leave, or possibly given a bad end and left as a **** to the next player in sequence (which would mean that players writer would take complete control of a second players cards, giving them more power over the game, but also more to consider)
It could wind up a horrible mess, and I still need to go over the exact cards and rules as they've been laid out so far, but let me know what you think.
How things would start

Reality rewritten
An app that looks a lot like a text document lets you write things and they become real. What could possibly go wrong?
