Peggy gets punished

"You're a very bad girl," said Doc Topper, sternly, looking down at the nude and dishevelled young woman who currently lay over his lap. "Coming into my store with no clothes on like that."

"But I didn't mean to! It was an accident!"

"That makes it worse. You're the mayor, Peggy. Mayors can't walk around town with no clothes, on especially not by accident. What if somebody from Greenvalley, the rival town across the way, had seen you? Sooner or later the whole state would be bound to learn that Pinkwhistle's mayor forgets her clothes."

"I won't do it again! I promise!"

"Peggy," said Doc, and brought his hand down on Peggy's upturned peachy bottom with an extremely firm smack, causing her to kick her legs into the air and squeal, "it's the third time this week that you've come into my shop with no clothes on. I spank you every single time, but you still keep forgetting."

"It's... ow! It's the host-pypnotic... the post... the hope-nypyptic... thingumybob! The carnival... thing! It's not fair! Ow!"

"A likely story," scoffed Doc, spanking her again. They sat on the balcony out in front of the store, on an old wicker chair, in full view of the street, which was surprisingly busy for midday. "You can't even remember its name."

"That's because I've been post... ow! Most-popnotised! To... ow! Sound silly! Whenever I try to ow! Talk about it!"

"I don't think you need any help to sound silly," said Doc, finally letting Peggy go. She rolled off his lap and knelt on the balcony, panting, pouting and rubbing her sore bottom. It was funny, but she didn't look very mayoral at all. "Say, who's that coming up the street."

"Hi," said the smart-looking young woman holding the microphone, followed by an even smarter-looking young man with a video camera. "I'm from Mayors Quarterly. I'm told you got a mayor in this town that's really dynamite, and I'm here to do a live video interview with her. We're going to ask a lot of really probing questions. Have you seen Peggy Jackson anywhere?"

"That's her," said Doc, pointing down at Peggy, who yelped and tried to curl into a little ball, though somehow her boobs getting slipping out. The microphone woman looked at her, a little doubtfully, and said "Really?"

"It's not fair! I was popnotised!"

"Well, here we go."
