Sarah tilted her head and studied you for a moment, but she didn’t push the issue. "Alright, if you’re sure."

With that, you both headed to the cashier. As you made the payment, the reality of everything hit you—a mix of gratitude and uncertainty. It was strange to be picking out clothes like this, with Sarah and her mom helping you in ways your own family hadn’t.

After the payment was done, you both left the store, bags in hand. Together, you headed back to Sarah's place.
