Party time!

Just then the doorbell rang. Lauren flinched as Vanessa headed over and opened the door. Lauren saw Mike and Ashley, with over a dozen of her peers and friends behind them!

"Hey, I hope it's cool that we brought a keg!" Mike said as he entered. Two guys entered, lugging a keg in ice bucket behind him as others began filing in.

"That's great!" Vanessa said.

Mike then noticed Lauren, who was standing stupefied and frozen in only shorts.

"Hey buddy!" He said, coming over and tousling Lauren's now short cut hair. "Ready to party?"

Lauren said nothing, just staring at her crush, wearing shorts and nothing else, completely in shock as her apartment filled with people...
