You, John Smith, having in a course of a few months lost your girlfriend, your mother and your job, have returned to your hometown and your empty childhood home to start a new job teaching history at St Perpetua’s Sixth Form College, an all-girls college. With you you’ve brought part of the Snetterton Collection, supposedly magical items you accidentally acquired from the university you used to work for.
