As his two kids ran off to the elevators, Dan let out a tired sigh. His wife came up to his side and wrapped her arm around his.

“Frustrated?” Sarah asked her husband in a kind tone.

“A bit,” he confirmed. “I just don't get those two. Jasmine is already in a bad mood, and its so hard to tell what Sam is feeling with how quiet he is. I guess I just hoped…”

“That they'd be two different people once we came off the boat?” Sarah teased while gently poking her husband’s side.

Despite his mood, Dan couldn't help but crack a smile. “When you put it like that, I guess I am asking for a miracle.”

Sarah took her husband's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. “I understand you're frustrated, but you have to give them time to relax here. It's not like people can change instantly. Let's give them some time alone to rest after the boat ride, and we'll call them down for lunch.”

When Dan gave a little nod, Sarah stepped in front of him and looked him in the eye.

“And don't forget honey, this is our vacation too,” Sarah said with a heartfelt smile. “Even if those two have a sour attitude, that doesn't mean it should ruin your fun. Enjoy yourself.”

Dan gave his gorgeous wife a smile, and wrapped his arms around her waist to pull her close. “You always know just what to say,” he whispered, before bringing her into a kiss.

As their lips touched and their eyes closed, they found each other's bodies resting together in a familiar embrace. Sarah wrapped her arms around her husband's shoulders and held him close as they enjoyed the sweet kiss. And then another. And another…
