Outpost

She concentrated for a moment as one of the black windows slowly opened up to expose a garage. She was slow and methodical with pulling in, making sure the fall wasn't too harsh.

I felt a little thump as she landed the car. The garage door quietly closed behind us and we both hopped out.

The air was dry and cold in the garage, the steel walls around us echoed with every footstep.

"Well, what do you think? Are you feeling flattered yet?" she said in a sarcastic tone.

"I don't really think I'm in a position to disagree..."

She giggled for a moment before grabbing my hand, "I like you... I'm glad my little program picked you, here come."

We walked out the garage door before entering a long, black steel covered hallway. Everything was professional and sleek. The only bit of life in the building was from the occasional potted bonsai tree next to a door.

We walked down some stairs, and then into a hallway again, before finally coming to a stop at a door.

She sighed before reluctantly turning to me, "Don't say anything stupid alright... be nice to everyone and you won't get hurt."

I nodded back to her as a felt a droplet of sweat form on my head. She pressed her thumb against a sensor on the door. It instantly opened, I looked in to a decently large lobby with various amenities and utilities.

In the corner of my eye I could already see some Brazilian chick on a couch banging her head to some music, and across the room I could see a smoking hot Korean girl with white hair flipping a butterfly knife above a barstool.

Viper tugged my arm as we neared the center of the room, the Korean girl quickly noticed our entrance and within the blink of an eye had somehow flown over to where we were standing.

She was about 5'5, maybe a little shorter, with a look of pure and utter dismissal across her face. She merely sized me up for a quick second before turning to viper with a smirk, "You better share this time... this kid is actually pretty cute..."

A wave of blush ran across my face as I looked down at my feet, I quickly heard a flurry of footsteps and hops as the Brazilian chick ran up to us as well.

She was a little taller than the Korean girl, and had weirdly braided hair with what looked like shotgun shells holding her braids together. She had an apathetic look as a smirk ran across her face as well.

"Damnnnnn Viper, aren't you a little old to be going after young ones like this?"

"You're not calling me old are you?" She as a smile ran away from her face, "I don't have to share, I know with those chipped nails and constant smell of gunpowder and sweat, you're not pulling anything."

The Brazilian chick got red before turning to me with an annoyed smile, "Soooo," she pressed her finger into my nose, "What's your name handsome?"

I batted her finger away from my nose which exerted a weird playful coo from her, "Jakob... you?"

She eyed me up and down before quickly squeezing my cheek, "You can just call me Raze..."

I felt a hand lightly touch my ass as I turned around to both the Korean girl and Viper ominously standing behind me.

"KJ isn't showing up until 2300, right?" The white haired girl asked.

"Yeah Jett, you don't remember her talking about that robotics science fair she wanted to counsel for?" Raze called out as she planted her hands on my hips.

"Hey! Uh, wha-"

"So... who wants him while I go get that... special thing ready...?" Viper cheerfully asked.

Jett turned away and started to walk to her room, "Raze you can have him for now while I put my knife up."
