Outfit your party.

Luna sits back with her rump against a table covered in supplies. The light inside is rather dim, and no lamps are currently alight, so the moths that tend to follow her wake flutter freely throughout the shop, one of which lands on the tip of her index finger as she holds it up. She's dressed in, as usual, a gorgeously sewn gown, though this one ends as a short skirt covered in frills. It's closer to pink than red, and tight around her waist are ribbons which bind to a large bow just above her butt. The sleeves are long, though so light that they flutter in even the most gentle breeze--a soft dress for the woman with the softest hair, though of course her own resolve is not at all gentle. You can see it in her eyes--she's masking how exhausted she truly is by a piercing, confident stare across to the two as you enter.

It's passion you feel, like with Laira. She may be tired, but she's never been happier. The two of them are workaholics.

"I'm so glad to see you, Kyle," she says. Her large, spirally wings flutter with glistening powder. "But who is this? Another doll for me to dress?"

"My name is Xiaoqing," she says. "Xue," she adds to clarify.

Luna's brows raise. "Oh!" Then she pulls herself up from the table's edge. "Oh I see now. Yes, I recognize your beautiful eyes. Where did you get such a dress? It looks striking on you. Perfect. Whoever decided on those colours knew what they were doing."

"This kind seamstress in Avana. Bippie, a squeakin," you answer.

"Hmm. The name sounds familiar, though I admit that when I lived in Avana, I didn't get the chance to connect with many other people. I'll have to seek her out. Well if you let me look this dress over after you undress, I'll gladly replace it with something else. Were you first looking for something casual and comfy, or are you looking for an adventurer's wear? Perhaps I can repurpose parts of your previous outfit as well."

"Good question. Whether I'm going anywhere soon or not, I'd probably feel safer having something I'd want to wear in combat," she replies. "I don't know if that's helpful."

"Sweetie, you've said all you need. My mind is already racing with ideas."

"At some point soon, I do plan on another adventure. Not sure who's coming yet though," you add.

"I see." Luna looks you over and ponders deeply about something. All you can gauge is that she seems excited. "Let me know as soon as possible who you plan to bring."

"Well let's start with a guarantee. Niki, Eva, Amara. And hey, why don't you come too, Xiaoqing? You're the new one here, so you haven't really gone on an adventure with us. Not since you've taken off the mask."

"Me?" she responds. "I mean, if that's what you want. Though first I must speak with the Empress of Ice. Technically I'm in her service, in return for the power she bestowed upon me. I need to make sure she doesn't need me to do anything else."

Luna grins. "I'm glad you said that. Let's just say that I've been working with some others on slowly upgrading the equipment of your party. Hopefully we can finish before you leave."

"Incredible. Take your time," you say. "I still have to give everyone their gifts."

"Gifts you say?"

"I know we have a lot of people here, but I had to get at least something for everybody, so nobody felt left out."

She purrs softly. "Well you can come give me my gift anytime you'd like, Kyle."

Xiaoqing clears her throat awkwardly and mumbles, "So should I get my measurements, or..."

"Oh yes! Come here," Luna says. "Let me get you into something comfier first, and then I'll fashion together your true wardrobe."

New gear? I wonder if that means just clothes, armour too, or even weapons. If I'm keeping all of my gifts a surprise just a little bit longer, then I'll let her keep her secrets too. Though I am really excited at the promise of Laira's handiwork as well. And we've got the talented artificer Fava. I wonder if she's spoken to the gnome at all who's staying up with Vyzia. And now they all have full contact with Tivera and beyond to get whatever resources they need.

"W-Wait, is there not a back room to undress in?" Xiaoqing cries. "I d-don't think we should be doing this right in the middle of the shop. Kyle is still in here."

"Ooh, so he hasn't seen you naked already," Luna teases.

Xiaoqing hesitates.

Then Luna's lips stretch into a wide smile. "I see."

"How'd you know?"

"You just told me. Now stop fussing. Kyle, I'll call you if you're needed."
