Out of control (corruption)

"Can you tell me where I can find books on Diogenes and the cynics values ?" A man asked.

"It's in the philosophical and theological section, the 7th and 8th row." Jane answered.

The man looked surprised.

"You seem quite knowledgeable." He told her in a patronizing tone.

"It's my job and I have a master in philosophy." She answered him, fighting herself to stay professional.

"Too bad it won't last..."

The man left with that and Jane stayed confused at what he meant. She didn't think too much about it tough, men like him were sadly common.

She put a strand of her long black hairs behind her ears and went back to her job, not knowing that her life would get turned upside down.

It started to a need to get prettier, dyed hairs and make up, discreet changes at first. Making her hairs dark brown and thin eyeliner. Then unbuttoning the first button of her shirt and shorter dress. But it felt more and more lacking. She was bored, reading was boring, teasing guys was more fun.

And so, she went for the first time to a nightclub on a Friday night. Just to dance and enjoy life. She then got her first tattoo the next day, stars on her right arm. She got her hairs lighter, and wore a miniskirt at work. She surprised herself day dreaming, fantasizing about guys, trying to guess their dick size.

More tattoos came after, and piercings too, some in private places. Two weeks after her first time in a nightclub, she woke up in someone's bed. He asked for a date, a proper one, but she wasn't interested. That gave her the idea of a tattoo, "Love is overrated" on her left breast. Because, honestly, it was true, casual sex felt more... fun. After that, Jane was having a hard time doing her job, and she got fired after being found sucking some guys cock in the "boring dead guys" section called philosophi-stuff and theo-thingy.

After that, she spent most of her nights at nightclubs, fucking guys. And since she had no job to pay the bills, she started asking money for sex.

And then, one day, she looked at herself in the mirror and realized how much, she lost control of herself.

Wearing slutty clothes, her skin covered in tattoos, piercing in various places, heavy make up and blond hairs. She didn't even recognize herself.

But it was too late, she had forgotten so much of what she learned in college, and had even difficulties remembering things from high school.
