Open air cafe

You find yourself at a brightly lit open air cafe, you didn’t pay attention but the police station is actually visible from where you are sitting. You chose a very comfortable hoodie and shorts look for your date while he actually looks better than you remember him as he approaches the table

He smiles, likely forgetting how intimidating his wall of razor sharp teeth are even if other lions would think of him as fat or... actually looking him over in his blazer and slacks with a cartoon frog on his Tshirt he looked pretty nice, his fur almost white like your own and his mane bright and golden in the sun...

He chuckles in that penetrating way big cats do “sorry if I kept you waiting” he rubs his head “wanted to get you something and it took a minute to find it” he hands you a little statue that... almost looks like it is of you. He continues “sorry it is dumb right? She is from my favorite show... she always reminded me of you” looking at it the little statue is clearly not you, another white bunny with big tits sure but... you notice “this is from the 90s?” he nods seeming nervous “you have had this since we were like... 5?”

Time seems to stop for Lary, standing looking down like he fucked up his whole life, dieing as he waits for you to finish.

“I didn’t look like this then...” is all you say and he blinks rapidly “um... I mean I guess but it was always that she was so brave and cool” he starts telling you about the cartoon, you order drinks, and spend the afternoon discussing nerdy shit that you weren’t really aware touches on a ton of things you like and he knows a lot of good bands and you are actually a little excited to see the show.
