Only Madelon realises.

I arrive at the hospital and see Roos having a conversation with the nurse who has been popping in and out. The others were there as well. Jullia, Antionette, and Anne are seemingly hungry and ready to eat. I started handing out food, and also gave some of the food to the nurse. He looked at me and asked: "Can you pick her up tomorrow morning?"

"Sure, but you won't be getting more of my food unless another one of our friends is here, or Jullia can convince your bosses to get my company to do catering. But seriously, thank you for taking care of her in the day-to-day."

He cuckled, and Jullia says: "Have been trying for years, so it ain't going to happen. There is no money for it."

"Good to have a nice meal one more time before it is back to the normal food. No worries, everyone needs help every once in a while, even if they are a spoiled princess with a legendary chef only spoken about in rumours and legends. He who can even quell the...." he stops for a moment as a glare from Jullia starts stabbing his back.

"Continue, I dare you to continue." She said with venom in her voice.

"I will not." Instead, he left.

"Chicken." She says mockingly. "Still, this is great. You even have multiple options."

I smile and say: "Yeah, this is great. I make these dishes all the time, but it is worth practising every day. But I will need to make a call to Jessica to make sure I can have tomorrow off."

Madelon joins me outside and asks: "Why did you take so long to heat leftovers?"

"Had a buddy need a lift out of Valkenswaard. Picked them up first, but they had called when I was about to leave here."

She glances over at me and rolls her eyes. "Sure. I really need a break. But if you have her home tomorrow, already can't I start Thursday?"

"Dumbass, I want some time to have her settle in whilst I know she adapts to the new situation. However, going out for a drink today or somewhere later, I can fanagle something with Antionette or one of my friends."

"If I want to go out with anyone, I want at least Anne or Jullia just to have some other women."

"Cool, I can be the token dude." She chuckles. "But if you don't want me there, I get it. I can ask them to take you out on Friday. It will be easier if I come along, but they will do it anyway."

"No, you can come along today could be nice if you can get them to take a swing at it." After my call, we head back inside.

"Jessica confirmed that at least this week, I can do whatever the fuck I want. Now let's have a night out with me, Jullia, Anne, and Madelon."

"Seems cool," Anne says while Jullia is nodding. Madelon gets a small, careful smile.

"You girls get ready, I will pick you up at my place, okay, whilst I have some alone time with my fiancée," I say whilst trying to usher them out. Antionette leaves along with them, knowing full well we probably want some personal space.

"Is there a specific reason you are asking the rest of your harem out?"

"Miss Swinkels needed a lift. She called me, and I picked her up because I felt bad for her."

"You have to learn that you can say no. Especially since you are now also a partial owner of a company and the leader of a harem. You know that, right?"

"Yeah, I know... I know. But it doesn't mean it is easy or something, I will stop doing it."

"Do you have any idea how disturbing it is to hear you say that? I understand it for friends or for lovers, but not everyone. You need to draw a line."

I nod. "Sure, I will do my best. But it will definitely be a long and hard road."

"Yes, I know, but sure, definitely try."

"Now go have a good night out with your other two girlfriends and your sister. I hope she is not too much of a third wheel.
