Just as Kendall was about to jump into action, Trent spoke up.

“The car’s all yours to deal with.” Trent stepped aside, sweeping his arm out to gesture towards the car. The captain stepped forward, pretending to actually be interested in the car as Trent’s other teammates stood uncomfortably close to Kendall.
