Olivia the Cat girl Adventurer

Nothing against Veronica, but when push comes to shove in the near sighted future, you'd rather have someone who can fight. You turn to Olivia, you see that she's concerned as she looks at you.

"Hey Olivia, do you mind being my roommate?" You ask, hoping she wouldn't. She nods and gives you a reassuring smile. Veronica smiles as well, you're probably thinking she's thinking you made the right choice.

"Of course, since you're a 'wanted' individual, I'm going to keep you safe." Olivia reassures you.

"Don't worry, I'll help too. Eventually, I still need some skills myself." Veronica chimes in. You are so glad you met these two.

"Thank you both. This really means a lot to me right now. Don't worry, I'll pick up some skills myself. I'd rather not be a real burden and leave all the work to the both of you." You respond. The idea of being completely helpless doesn't set right for you. You plan on getting strong so you can help your new friends. Your words brought bigger smiles to their faces as they beam at you.

Your party makes their way to the board, you and Olivia both grab keys for the same room while Veronica grabs a single key to the number next to yours.

"Hopefully my roomie is chill. I'll be next door to yours just in case you two, like, need anything ok?" Veronica asks.

"Its very appreciated Veronica, thank you." You reply.

"Aren't you worried? I mean you don't know who you're rooming with. Should anything go wrong you come to us ok?" Olivia asks, sounding like a worried parent. Veronica shrugs to her.

"Hey we're all taking risk being here. No harm in taking some more. I'll catch you two later. C' ya!" She answers as she starts to walk off to the dorms. The room begins to feel tense as everyone else is looking around interacting with each other in hopes of finding you. Wordlessly, you and Olivia exit the garden and make your own way to the dorms.

Thankfully, no one noticed that all three of you left the garden, the tension lighting up. Your group makes its way to the end of the dorms, Veronica is the first to enter her room, leaving you truly alone with Olivia as you both enter your room. The room is big and looks quite nice! The walls are a beautiful design and the floor is completely carpet and looks soft too. The beds are large and on opposite sides of the room, on top of them is a suitcase each. As you both reach a bed, you open the suitcase and notice that its filled with your cloths. Wow, they weren't kidding in that letter about the luggage. Then you and Olivia start putting away your cloths in the drawer next to your corresponding beds, it took no time at all.

After that, you sit down on your bed and reflect all that just happened. You accepted an invite to a multiversal college that rewards students that mind controls each other and not even day one you became a high value target. This means that all eyes will be on you wherever you go. Some one will definitely be right behind you when you least expect it. This even means that someone could take control of Olivia and Veronica and turn them against you, and the idea that you being here puts them in danger too just hurts you deep down. You grab your head and lean forward, the stress is already building within you.

You're suddenly brought back to reality as you feel Olivia sit next to you, putting a hand on your back. You look and see that she removed her vest and gloves, revealing a tight tee that hugs her torso. She begins to rub your back as she looks at you with concern.

"Hey John, are you ok?" She ask. You breath before you answer.

"I'm fine. Just trying to process all this is all." You respond.

"You know, the dean said that there was a counselor's office, and you already met the counselor. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to go check in with her, if you think she'll help. After that, we could go get some grub. What do you say?" The idea does sound good to you, that and getting food afterwards.

"Yeah. I like the sound of that. Lets go together. I really don't feel like going alone right now." She nods as you both get up. You then make your way to see Charity in her office.
