Oh well.

His immediate desires satisfied, Joseph was curious about Beth's new state. He decided to test it.

"Hey babe, can you get me a glass of water? I'm kinda thirsty."

She smiled, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "Of course. I could use some water too!"

She came back promptly with two glasses of water. As she set his down, he spoke again. "Actually, I changed my mind. Take it back for me?"

She shrugged and took a large gulp of hers. Setting it down, she turned and left the room with his. When she came back a second later, he asked for water again. He carefully studied her face as she responded.

"Sure!" she said without hesitation and bounced out of the room, still chipper and smiling. She returned with the glass and handed to him, watching him patiently. He took a swig and set it on the coffee table. Realizing that he wasn't gonna order her back into the kitchen, she sighed and sat down. Joseph immediately asked her to get him a second glass.

She cocked an eyebrow as she rose. "What, one glass isn't enough? You're such a weirdo."

"No, Beth, you're right. You can sit down. Why did you keep getting me water, though?"

She chuckled. "What kind of question is that? You wanted water, so I brought you water. You were a little indecisive, but I don't really care. Sure you don't want that second glass?"

"Beth, did it occur to you that I was fucking with you?"

"Of course," she said with a shrug. "Still, you wanted the water so I brought you the water. What's the problem?"

Time for another test. He casually unzipped his pants, prompting her to get on her knees again.

"No, no need for that. Hand me your water."

She handed her mostly-empty glass to him and he dipped the tip of his member in, swirling it around a little. She watched with curiosity. After zipping up, he handed it to her. "Drink this."

Once again, she didn't hesitate to throw back the glass, although she made a face on tasting his diluted semen. "Ugh, gross. Can I have some of your water to wash the taste out with?"

Handing her his water, he interrogated her further. "Why did you do that? I mean, I know it's because I asked, but why didn't you tell me no?"

Beth struggled to answer. "Tell you no? I guess I just... I don't know, I didn't think to. You wanted me to drink it and you must have had a good reason. Why would I say no to that?"

"Didn't it bother you, though?"

"I mean, it didn't taste very good..." she replied. "Look, I don't know why you're asking all these questions. What are you driving at?" She didn't sound irritated or upset, just curious.

"What if I told you that I had a special power that made you prioritize my needs above yours?"

Beth blinked in confusion. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"I mean, doesn't it seem weird that you're doing everything I want without question?" he asked, prying at the barrier he had inadvertently erected.

It didn't budge. "No. I don't even understand what you're saying to me right now. Look, babe, what do you want right now? Maybe I'll cook you up some dinner? I did just take some protein from you," she said with a wink. "Or we can rewind the movie, or you can play with my tits... what do you want?"
