Yes, they did remember Cousin Kyle, the podgy little creep that was always taking pictures of James’s sisters in their swimwear at family gatherings. He was a sneaky little pervert, James picked up on what he was doing the first time he met him, Kyle pretends to be lame and incapable to get people to do things for him, James recalls once how he must've slid a dog toy under his sofa and got Vanessa and Becky to bend over and reach for it, all the while he's taking pictures of their asses, getting an eyeful, every time James would confront him about it he pretended to freakout and get upset and get James into trouble for 'bullying him', “little bastard” James thought resentfully. James recalls a separate event, even at their father’s funeral he feigned to be upset so he could squeeze right up to his family, He swore he saw him slip his phone under their mother’s skirt and take a picture, it made his blood boil but it wasn't the place, James thought, and at the end of the day he just forgot about it and didn't say anything.

"Well, he's coming to stay with us for the summer! isn't that nice! Your aunt and uncle are going travelling and Kyle really didn't like the idea, you know how he is, poor boy. So, I offered to take him in, and they said he was very happy with that" yeah, I bet he was... wait, THE WHOLE SUMMER!? "Did you say, the whole of summer?" I said, barely trying to hide how I despised the idea of him being around. "Yep, well 2 months from today is when they're meant to be back" what the hell so they just sprung this on you today. "Well, where's he going to stay" even before I finished the sentenced, I knew... no... "he'll be sleeping in your room of course, the beds plenty big enough for two! and we can maybe make him up a bed in your room if you aren’t happy with sharing" that smelly, greasy, fat creep is NOT staying in my room I... " I don't mind Kyle sharing my bed for a couple nights, He's harmless James come on don't be a dick" Becky says with a hint of dissapointment, taking the generous road as per usual. I hear the high-pitched hellos and hi's as I walk down the corridor, turning the corner I see my aunt Stephanie, my dad’s sister, hugging my mom, they kept in touch even after his ****, they'd all been friends much of their lives, even before they had any of us. My aunt whispers something to my mom and they both go upstairs, I Guess they need to talk about something private. I was asked to help with his bags all four of them, and heavy too. dropping them off at the bottom of the stairs something slips out one of the pockets, palm sized pouch with something circular inside, it kind of looked like a...
