Kittie can't believe the insane choice her classmate is trying to give her. Work at McDarnold's AND she had to date this pervert loser for 8 months? Be "boyfriend and girlfriend" with him? Yeah, that wasn't about to happen. Despite the fears and anxiety that were coursing through her at the thought of being out on the street, anything was better than this. "You know what? Go fuck yourself, Fat Freddy. I'd rather be homeless than date you." The pretty goth girl turns and walks out of the fast food restaurant without looking back, leaving the obese ginger dumbfounded.

Kittie gets into her little blue Prius and leaves the restaurant behind, driving away triumphantly from a bad situation...

There were a few other places, including a nearby car wash and a few stores at the mall. And being 18, she could also try some of the more "adult" businesses if she needed to, like the local sex shop or a strip club. These were her very last option.
