"If you want to get a closer look, be my guest," Mack remarked, smirking as he opened the cover of the watch. Stacy pretented to shield her eyes, exclaiming "No, I don't want to catch your nerdy... ob.. sessss..." Her hand dropped from her face, she slouched over, and her speech slowed to a halt.

A full five seconds passed in silence before Mack finally whispered under his breath four words which would change his life. "Holy shit, it worked." As though it didn't quite sink in the first time, he said with more appropriate energy in his voice, "Holy shit it worked!"

Following his outburst of excitement was a severe lack of anything resembling higher brain function from either party. Stacy and Mack's mouths hung open like a pair of zombies, and it wasn't until a string of drool began to decend from Stacy's lips that Mack came back to his senses. "Ewwww, close your mouth, dont drool everywhere," Mack disgustedly remarked. Not expecting his enemy to actually listen, he watched in intrigued suprise as she actually closed her mouth and stopped drooling.

"Well, well, well," he mused to himself, having finally conceded in his mind that this watch was the real deal. While his logical engineer side was deconstructing the watch earlier, the slightly naive and overimaginative side of him was making up fantasies of what he could do if the mysterious watch somehow turned out to be the real deal. And now, having a once-in-a-lifetime opportinity, his ridiculous ideas were ready to be brought into reality.
