"She's here," an agent spoke to Director Groan over video call.

Groan was in contact with a small outpost on the outskirts of Pleaseville, one he had set up after Phantom's arrival to catch any other Cryptids trying to waltz into the town.

Currently, he had a team of male operatives as well as one female operative, an Agent by the name of Helena Cockthorne. She was an agent that was responsible for most direct reports to Director Groan, and as such was a common recipient of his Hypnosis App when she visited his office. But today, she was on outpost duty, so Director Groan would have to invite another agent to "take care of him" later.

"Sir, what are your orders?" Helena asked.

"Capture her unharmed," Director Groan stated.

"Yes sir, it'll be done," Agent Cockthorne saluted, before the call was ended.

Director Groan sat at his desk a bit, doing multiple calculations in his head. After a minute or two of thinking, he turned to press a button that speed-dialed Agent Busty.

"Hello? What's the situation?" Agent Busty answered.

"Status report on your current mission," he demanded.

"We have the location of the artifact tracked down," Agent Busty replied, "I'm preparing to deploy with a few operatives to retrieve the item right now."

"Where did you end up finding it?" Director Groan asked. Curious to see if his hunches were correct.

"Argentina sir, in an abandoned mine shaft," Billie elaborated, "Rest assured Director, we'll get it to you in no time."

"I look forward to it," he smiled, ending the call.

Director Groan already knew that Cockthorne's team was bound for failure, but his plan was coming along quite nicely, so he found no imminent need to warn her of the Cryptid's powers.

This was definitely a cause of celebration, he thought to himself as he wondered which female agent he should summon to his office.
