Draco awoke to Cassandra shaking him.

"What the hell did you do that for?" He blurted out.

"I can't get up when you're sleeping on my lap." She responded, smirking. "We're nearing Hogwarts"

"How long was I out?" He grumbled out.

"Pretty much the entire ride." Cassandra told him. "I don't intend to let you get sluggish on me again, sleepyboy."

Malfoy got an apology out before everyone was told to take themselves and their things off the train.

They got onto one of the carriages.

"You know they use thestrals to pull these things?" Malfoy stated trying to impress her. "They're these invis-"

"Yeah, they are right in front of us." Cassandra interrupted in a deadpan. That turned Malfoy even more pale as he considered the implications of that statement.

Once they arrived at the grounds, Aurors banged on the carriages. Everyone was being searched as they entered the castle.

"Mr. Malfoy, what do you need a staff for?" Filch asked while examining the item.

"It's a walking stick." Malfoy responded defensively. "Give it back."

Malfoy, Filch, and one of the Aurors fought over Malfoy's walking stick as every other student passed the search.

"I can vouch for Mr. Malfoy." Cassandra turned to see Snape talking to Filch.

Snape waved them through the Aurors and into the castle.

"Run along, Mr. Malfoy. Ms. Black, I need to have a word with you." Snape muttered.

"As your head of house, Ms. Black, I am responsible for your safety and education. The Headmaster has informed me of the .... peculiarity of your transfer, should you need anything." Snape told her flatly, almost bored. "And, Potter, I expected more from your potion ability. " Snape whispered in a surprisingly disappointed tone. "Now, there is a feast to get to. I want you to be in my Defense Against the Dark Arts class on time. He emphasized as he took Cassandra to the dining hall.
