Oculus Serpere

The Oculus Serpere is a nocturnal alien with the appearance of a human eye with a red iris and dark purple tentacles.

This allusion to human eyes is entirely coincidence, as humans weren't on Alevita.

Their tentacles can grow to incredibly long lengths.

They dislike being enclosed, so always try to have their eye protruding out the body of their host.

When in a host's navel, the base of their tentacles can be seen through the skin

Evolved from the Oculus Patris

When not in humans, they live in hiding in clean (typically sanatized, as they want to avoid infection of their eye) urban areas.

The Oculus Serpere spawnling can enter a human woman's navel and grows its tentacles across the abdomen before attaching to and controlling the spinal nervous system.

They change the colour of their host's eyes to red.

Once connected to the nervous system it can access all its host's knowledge and memories

The spawnling's sexual organs will also grow into the host's wombs, where it makes it's own spawnlings. The spawnlings exit the host's body tentacle first through the vagina.
