Observe her evening without you

Ah you have chosen to peek into what happened that night, to see something that you would have been unaware of originally. So while you work hard in the office we focus in on your shared house. Emma is sat on the navy blue couch, while Ben sits on your stained white couch in front of the large TV, he has a PlayStation control in his hand and is play Call of Duty. He is playing online multiplayer and Emma is cheering him on.

"Kill that little shit" she says, her aggression showing.

"On it" he replies coolly, no sign of frustration just someone who is used to the game and reacting to threats. When the game ends the score read him as MVP and she whoops a congratulations. "I usually don't do well if you and Tom are watching me play, but tonight I did pretty good"
"Nice to know I can cheerlead!" Emma jokes "I enjoy watching you play, you are really good. All Tom ever wants to play is boring strategy games and it's less fun for me, but I do have to pretend I am interested"

Ben laughs at this "So should I tell him you think he is boring?" he teases her.
"Nooo! I didn't mean that he is boring, just the stuff he is into is boring" she hurriedly says, she flushes as Ben laughs harder at this and realises her wording.

"Don't worry I wont say a thing, plus you can always just come hang out here if you are bored" he says. She smiles at this, her embarrassment subsiding a little.

"Thanks Ben" she sighs and looks at her phone "well if you don't mind it looks like I am hanging out here all evening at this rate. He is still working!"
"Tom is being a mug letting them keep him there that long, I'd have just left to come home, work isn't worth it." he says.
"He does let people walk all over him, he is very hard working though" she replies
"...if boring" he laughs. Emma throws a cushion at him and he continues laughing. "But I don't mind looking after you while he is busy. You are a good guest. Always tidying up or making me drinks" she sticks her tongue out at him.
"Yeah I have to tidy up because you are such a slob and I make you drinks because if I didn't you'd probably dehydrate in that chair" she responds.
"Hah well I say Tom is lucky to have you and by extension I am too, even if you don't follow hints" he says raising his eyebrows at her.
"What do you mean?" she asks curiously. He grabs his mug and shakes it at her. "You want me to make you a drink?" she asks rolling her eyes. He nods.
Sighing she stands up, not sure why but a combination of his cheekiness and her need to look after him she goes to the kitchen to make him a drink. Brewing him a coffee she returns with a fresh mug and some biscuits, landing them in front of him as plays his game. She stays to watch him play more.
