You tell Muffet that you would like to start working now. "Ahuhu, excellent, I'm glad to hear it. Head on back and put on a spare apron and I'll let you know what needs to be done, dearie." Muffet says, pointing towards the rear of the store as she gets back to checking out customers. You head into the back of the bakery and find an extra apron hanging up on a hook. You put it on, as instructed, and just as you are finishing tying it up, Susie walks in from another room. "What the-" Susie starts. "What are you doing back here?" You explain to Susie that you have just recently been hired by Muffet to work here. Susie crosses her arms and seems to grumble, "Guess she really does hire anyone." under her breath.

Not too long after that, Muffet shows up carrying a clipboard. "Well then, dearie, I'm glad you decided to join us. I'm sure you're a smart person, so here is a list of things I need done for today." Muffet says, before handing you said clipboard. There isn't too many things to do on it, and most of the tasks are pretty simple. "Finish those, and I'll consider your work done for the day." Muffet remarks, before turning to Susie. "And as for you. Our shelves are looking a little sparse, so why don't you help me bake some more inventory?" Whatever emotion Susie was feeling before has been replaced with a look of pride on her face. "Alright, I've been looking forward to showing off some more of my baking skills." Susie declares, which draws a chuckle from Muffet. "Sure thing, but you know I'm charging you for every pastry you burn, right, dearie?" Muffet responds, earning a nervous chuckle from Susie in response. "Maybe I shouldn't set the oven to the max temperature after all." You hear Susie mumble under her breath.

With that settled, Susie and Muffet both begin working on baking new goods to be displayed, leaving you to your own devices. You begin working on your assigned items, making steady progress as Muffet goes back and forth between the front of the store and the back. Susie, for her part, does pretty well at baking, even when Muffet isn't around to guide Susie. Apart from that, it seems like Susie does most of the heavy lifting, occasionally assisted by a giant muffin shaped spider Monster. After a few hours, you complete the last item on the task list and return to Muffet, who is checking out a couple of people. "Ah, you've finished already, dearie? Excellent work, I knew you wouldn't let me down. Let me finish this up, and I'll get you your money." And with that, Muffet checks out the two people and head into the back of the store once again, though this time she ducks into, what you assume to be, her office. Muffet quickly returns with an unmarked envelope. Muffet passes the envelope into your hands. "Here you go, make sure you don't spend it all in one place. Or maybe do, if you're planning on spending it here, ahuhuhu." Muffet laughs at her own joke as she steps back into managing the front of the bakery.

"Be sure to come again, dearie. I would love to have you here." Muffet waves you goodbye as she focuses on the customers, leaving you with the envelope still in your hands. You open the envelope to reveal 150 G. You pocket the G and step outside the bakery as you think about where to go next. The sun is high in the sky right now, so you should have plenty of time to visit another one of those places you saw yesterday.
