Nothing

There weren't many cars when Kara arrived, just one old, rusted, broken down one. Now, that one was gone. Along with her own.

Her eyes widened as she stood there in stunned silence for a moment, realizing the weight of the situation. Everything was in that car. Her checks, her key to her future. Even the clothes from her back were gone without a trace. Breathlessly, she collapsed to her knees, silently sobbing. "My life is over, just like that." She thought. "I have nothing. Nothing."

She stood back up. "No. This won't end here. Not like this." Refusing to accept defeat, she scanned the area for her next move. The highway was about two miles away, it would be a bit of a walk, but she could make it. Granted, given her current state of undress, that wasn't ideal. She clutched herself, throwing her hands over her private parts just at the thought of it. The only other option in sight was at the other side of the lake, which could have some hope for her, but guaranteed nothing.

Neither option looked very enticing.
