When you walk in the blue words are there asking, “What is your name?”

You think for a second and it is rather odd as it seems to reject several names till the name, Aurora, pops in your head they disappear and a man stands up to greet you. “Aah Aurora it is good of you to come. I find myself in need of your talents once again.” He grabs your hand and gives it a quick kiss, then motions for you to take a seat in the booth, sitting across from you once you have seated.

“What sort of mischief do you have for me today Theo? And of course the real question. What does it pay?” You ask

He hands you a chip and waits for you to stick it in, as you do you are actually a tad surprised you still have a data jack. It slides in and the floor plan for a large warehouse is revealed with a room highlighted, looking in the highlighted area brings into view what looks like a secure lab, with a similarly lit odd looking round object under glass. “What you see is a highly volatile compound. It requires the use of magic to retrieve it.” He hands you a scroll. “This has a containment spell as well as a small portal. Go in, put on the containment, then open the portal and put it through.”

“Sounds easy enough.”

He smiles, “Don’t go getting overconfident on me now Aurora. But yes no need to try to smuggle something out in a box.”

“How much?” You ask with a smile.

He sets a card on the table which you palm, “20,000 here for expenses. Another $50,000 on completion. You can meet me here at 8pm in two days or I can arrange a transfer through Little Bear if you prefer.” Your internal computer shows you a picture of a cute Native American girl with long black hair pulled into a tight ponytail when he says the name, it says she is your magical fixer as well as a fence for stolen goods and help identifying magic items. With that said he stands. It would seem taking the money was saying yes to the mission. “Good hunting Aurora.” With a little bow he leaves.
