Chapter 18 by elshada elshada

What does he say?

Nothing. He remembers what Alice said.

Seamus closed his mouth and turned back to look at Na. Na was mewling and panting and he can see her ankles tied to her thighs, shifting like mad which made him finally realize that there were two small feathers tickling her feet.

Vavnagal said: "My King, I need you to use an item from the app to get her to answer questions and then please ask her a few questions for me."

Seamus looked through the options and found one in the app that would work: Truth or Consequences: Custom Girl must answer any question of the User or Face the Consequences. Consequence at first selection: Electric shock to nipples.

Selecting it, he added it to her list and then asked Vavnagal: "What do you need me to ask her?"

"My King, please ask how soon and what method Lucifer will be using to attack our people next." Vavnagal said, worry suffusing her face.

"Very well." Seamus looked at Alice and Ailis, who were looking at Na. Alice's face was somewhat flushed, her nipples firm and her breathing a little ragged, while Ailis was looking curious. "Stay here please, I'll be back in a moment."

After they nodded, Seamus walked over to Na, and asked the question that Vavnagal had requested.

Na glared at him, pursed her lips together and then yelped in pain and jerked upwards, pulling at the twine on her nipples. Na started purring and yowling softly at his proximity, his pheromones working deeply into her hormonal chemistry.

Seamus asked his question again.

Na struggled, jerked in pain, then sighed. "I don't know." Then she jerked harder. "I mean, I only know some of his plans." Soft jerk. "I know he plans to attack the succubi by sending a wing of demons to their realm within the hour. I didn't know why until I saw what you did." Na relaxed as her torso stopped jerking, but kept twitching as the feathers continued their relentless **** on the soles of her feet.

Contemplating his previous conversation regarding marriage, Seamus thought through what he really believed and sighed. He really did feel that sex of all it's myriad forms was marriage. Especially penetrative vaginal sex. Unless it was ****, unwilling sex. And he really needed to know what Na thought about this issue. Hardening himself against what he feared the answer to be, he asked Na a question he really didn't want to know the answer to. After all, if she said yes, he would feel like he was now married to a demon. If she said no, he would still feel like he was married to a demon but it would be unrequited. "Na, I believe that penetrative vaginal sex by willing partners is marriage in the eyes of God. Is that what you also believe to be true?"

Wincing and hissing at the name of God, the demon in front of him started to answer: "No." But then jerked hard. "Yes." Na glared at him. "But we didn't have willing sex." She jerked again.

Seamus's eyes widened.

Na snarled. "I mean I would never betray my Lord Lucifer with you." And jerked even harder. "I don't find you attractive! Ouch! Bloody hell what did you do to me? Why can't I tell a lie you puny excuse for a human incubus? Ow! I find you very attractive and had to stop myself from jumping your bones as soon as I saw you and I would betray anyone you asked me to just for one second in your bed and would love to be your wife and more than happily received your sting and pleasure and please I beg of you to keep that to youself!" She sagged in her bonds in relief and jerked as the suspension ropes pulled her up and dropped her again.

Seamus looked back at Vavnagal and waved her off. Vavnagal nodded in understanding and let Na free from all her bonds.

Seamus crouched near the prone Na and asked: "Then given my beliefs and what you just said, do you consider us married?"

Sighing, Na looked up at Seamus and said: "You don't know what you are asking, but in the eyes of your most High, and in the traditions of my culture, yes I do. We might look like your Earthly cats but we differ from those felines in a few respects - my people only ever take or give pleasure from or to someone we trust or lust after enough to mate with for life."

Vigorously rubbing his face, Seamus said: "Well...this complicates things." He looked at her. "How long does your race live?"

Laughing softly, Na replied: "Until we are killed by someone stronger. We tend to promote through meritocracy, whoever is devious or strong enough to survive lives. Everyone else dies. Lucifer didn't like us following through with our nature very often so we reserved that kind of promotion for when we had two candidates vying for the same position that had opened up due to the **** of the existing holder."

Seamus helped her up, as she was still unsteady. "Why didn't Lucifer like that?"

Na smiled viciously. "It decreased the size of his army. For us it meant his army was more capable so it was worth the occasional surreptitious **** of higher level members, as long as we could get away with it without drawing the attention of Lord Morningstar." Na's claws snicked out and then retracted. "Why would you trust me? Just because I'd betray Lord Morningstar for you doesn't mean I will or that I wouldn't kill you given the chance."

Seamus looked at her steadily. "Are you going to?"

Pursing her lips, Na tried to refuse to answer but a particularly strong jerk in her body that caused her finger claws to fully extend and then slowly retract caused her to answer swiftly with a sigh: "No. I owe Lord Morningstar my life, but I don't trust he has my people's best interests at heart." Looking angry with herself that she had divulged the last, she asked: "How are you doing this to me? My race is normally very difficult to get information from. In fact, I normally extract information from other races...thoroughly."

Seamus answered: "A magic app."

Looking startled, Na laughed a short, raspy hiss. "Figures the succubi would find a way to weaponize lust." She stretched her back in a sensuous arch, her tail curling and snapping. "Lord Morni... Lucifer is going to look for me when I don't show up to the war council meeting. What are your plans?"

Deflecting, Seamus instead asked: "Why the shift from Lord Morningstar to Lucifer?"

A predatory grin appeared on her face and Na replied: "A tom revealed himself as a king, claimed me through a mating dance, mounted me forcefully, then displayed his absolute power over me and severed my psychic link to my former Lord. Lucifer no longer has my allegiance. You do." She knelt and then extended one claw from her right index finger, pricked her left thumb and drew a symbol on the ground with her left thumb.

Seamus stared at the symbol and then looked up at Vavnagal for assistance, who stated: "My King, she is swearing a blood oath of absolute fealty." Hesitating a moment, she continued further: "My King, blood oaths can only be entered into voluntarily, can never be asked or demanded and if they are violated, they will boil the blood of the person that violated it."

Seamus asked Na: "Why would you take this risk? Especially for me, someone you just met?"

Na answered simply: "Power. You exude it so much so it seeps from your pores. I have done much that would make you or anyone else in your realm distrust me. I am drawn to your power, your aura, your strength. You claimed me without real effort. Yet, you have mortal morals. I feel swearing fealty to you will reflect well on my people and might gain your benevolence when and if you free my people from Lucifer." She stood back up again, and swayed.

Seamus put out his hands and steadied her. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, blood oaths are power hungry." Na's fur looked dull and lifeless.

Seamus looked at Vavnagal: "is there food here?"

"Yes, my King." Vavnagal signaled one of the succubi guard to go, and she disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

Cocking his head, Seamus asked something that he had been curious about. "Why the smoke when everyone disappears?"

"My King, it isn't smoke, it is a physical manifestation of the magical energy twisting the realms to allow for movement from place to place." Vavnagal explained.

"So it's actually more a Casimir fog or Cherenkov radiation effect influenced by particles in the air at the folded space loci? But how does that work so consistently with regards to the colors for each person?" Seamus frowned.

"Thermodynamics, my King, thermodynamics and personal attunement with particular energy states of matter. My King, each particle has a specific resonance frequency and when a succubi, incubi, or some demon learns to use the transition method, they attune to specific frequencies that speak most to them and then depending on their level of control and personality, push out power into the world that can be soft and sensuous and just enough to work, or like most lazy, power-mad demons, push out power that is wasteful and harsh." Vavnagal explained, distaste crossing her face at the mention of demons.

An expression of understanding crossed his face and Seamus exclaimed: "Ah! So the difference between an Einstein-Rosen bridge vs. a Schwarzschild radius?"

Laughing, Vavnagal replied, "Yes, my King, that is one way of putting it."

"Ah! A pressure gradient!" Seamus was excited now. "Um. Is it possible for Lucifer to overhear us right now?"

Sharing a look with Na, both Vavnagal and Na nodded. "Yes, my King, it is entirely within the realm of possibility for Lucifer to listen in due to Ailis being here or through other methodology."

Looking frustrated, Seamus demanded, "Is there any way to keep Lucifer from overhearing what I'm about to ask? I need to confirm something before I ask you to direct your troops to do something that might get them killed just because I don't understand the science behind what you do."

Shaking her head, Vavnagal stated: "My King, our King." She knelt in that familiar pose, immediately followed by the other four succubi. "These are your troops my King, to lead as you see fit. I, as a General, and my former husband as a General and King, have led them to failure, time and again, my King. If you think you have a solution, please use it and if it fails, my King, understand that we have failed many times before and it will not be your fault if we fail yet again. The succubi and incubi have never won a battle against the armies of Lucifer."

Seamus was started at that statement: "Never? Then how have you survived all this time?"

Vavnagal stood up again and said: "My King, we barely hung on and we have fought Lucifer almost to a draw, making further battle too costly for him but it has always been retreat and regroup."

Seamus nodded. "So at this point, even if my idea fails, it is still better to try it than not?"

Vavnagal nodded. "Yes, my King."

Seamus sighed, and stepped away from everyone for a moment, and started pacing.

"Ow!" Alice said, "Honey, if you need me, don't step away!" Alice walked up to him and directed his head onto her own.

Seamus whispered into her ear: "How do I direct troops in a battle when I've never been in the military, don't know the right tactics, and have limited strategic knowledge of past battles?"

Alice shook her head: "I don't know dear. But you'll figure it out, and you should probably do so fast given the fact they will be attacking soon."

Seamus nodded and called out to Na: "Na, how soon?"

Na replied: "They will be attacking the main succubi village in about five minutes, my liege."

Seamus closed his eyes for a second. "Time sped by too quickly." He opened his eyes and then ordered Vavnagal to move Alice, Ailis, and Na back to his home, and transport Seamus, Vavnagal and their guard to the location that Na had indicated the attack would be taking place at.

Vavnagal bowed, completed the process of transporting everyone, and then Seamus turned and asked her to gather a large group of fighters.

A few scant minutes later, Seamus had 50 succubi and incubi surrounding him, kneeling and paying their respect. He waved them off and asked Vavnagal if they would have enough time to explain the tactics without giving Lucifer enough time to respond and with her nod of approval, he outlined the necessary movements of his troops.

Thankfully, he had just finished directing the last of the movements when the black smoke from the demons started to appear in their midst. Seamus called out: "Now!"

In groups of five, the succubi and incubi called up their personal negative energy folded space, in all those beautiful myriad colors, right around the incoming black as night positive energy quantum singularities that the demons used to travel, and swiftly group funneled the endpoints of each of the incoming quantum singularities to the same spacetime location of another quantum singularity in the middle of a supermassive black hole, thereby flooding the incoming demonic transports with so much oppositional energy that the transports diverted and upon arrival at the new destination, **** a superpositional wavefunction collapse and singularity interference. Seamus covered his ears and groaned at the demonic shrieks and screams as the demons were ripped apart by the entropic, chaotic gravitational shear forces.

Seamus whirled around at a voice from behind him:

"Well, that was unexpected."

Seamus looked at a being, hideously beautiful, wings white as snow, and a face smiling with an easy malice. "Lucifer Morningstar, I take it?" Seamus asked, wonder of wonders, his voice steady. His heart was pounding, but his voice was steady.

An utter lack of response came from the being as the being looked out at the sea of succubi and a few incubi that had started to emerge from the village. The being pursed his lips, said: "That was annoyingly expensive." then stared at Seamus for a brief moment, then a fog the color of pure white snow swirled around him and when it had dissipated, the being was gone.

Seamus looked over at Vavnagal, who nodded: "Yes, my King, that was Lucifer Morningstar, angrier than I've ever seen him before." Vavnagal looked out at her people in wonder. "My King, we won a battle."

"We did? That was it? He's not coming back with more troops?" Seamus asked.

Shaking her head, Vavnagal responded: "My King, we wiped out hundreds of demons in that attack, far more than we have ever managed to do before and in far less time with zero casualties of our own."

Seamus sagged in relief. "That felt anti-climactic."

Vavnagal said: "My King, we won a battle, not the war, but we have a defensive tactic that we can use very effectively now."

Seamus frowned: "I take it the reason it did not work against Lucifer is because he uses a different transport method?"

Vavnagal nodded. "Yes, my King, that is correct."

Seamus pondered that for a moment: "Can he teach his troops how to use his own method?"

Shaking her head, Vavnagal replied: "No Husband, I don't believe so, at least, they've always used the exact same method for transport, regardless of their power level and trained ability."

Seamus had some doubts, but pushed them aside, and said: "In that case, take me home for a bit please. I need to talk with Alice and Ailis, and before you remind me, I have a harem that I have to bring back out of time suspension."

Vavnagal bowed, as did their escort, and the colored fog swirled around their ankles.

Seamus shivered for a moment, appreciating the transport, but suddenly finding himself not quite as much of a fan of it...

How does bringing the harem forward go?
