Nothing? (it does something.)

As the machine whirls, Jenna crosses her fingers in hopes that the machine does exactly as she programmed it to do, create one clone and only one clone. The anxiety of being the first test subject of her own machine creeps up on her. If there were any flaws, it's too late to do anything about it now. The machine continues to clamor, beep, and clank for about a minute until...

• The room is suddenly dark, not even a sound of electricity going out.

"W-What happened?"

Jenna slowly steps to the other side of the room, and turns the lights on.

Jenna warily looks around the room, but nothing. She is alone.

"So it didn't work huh? Where in my calculations did I go wrong then?"

She ponders for a moment but then stops and shrugs.

"At least nothing happened to me."

She notices the door is slightly open.

"That's weird... I always remember to close it for sure. Unless I was in a real hurry, I don't think I was earlier was I?"

She shrugs the detail off as well.

She notices the computer is still on, and goes to it.

"It's been two hours?! Oh no! I've got to get back home!"

Jenna hurries out of the lab, forgetting to close the door, leaving it slightly open.

As she gets home, she reaches her arm for the door of her home in a hurry-

-Only to get it thrown in her own face as it suddenly opens.

As Jenna tries to get her bearings, she sees two figures get out of her own home.

"We've got to get back! Before this gets any worse!" A strangely familiar voice calls out from one of the figures.

Jenna bravely speaks up as the pain finally begins to fade.

"HEY! WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?!"

The two figures stop and turn around.

"Looks like they already got worse." The other voice says, also strangely familiar.

Jenna squints her eyes as she gets a good look at the two burglars.

Two women in white coats, with red hair, about the same height as Jenna...

They were both Jenna.

"Oh no... What did I do?" Jenna asks her two new sisters.

"I- uhm.. "we" succeeded with the cloning, I guess." One of the two Jennas tell her.

"I was the first one to get out of the machine, from output. But no one was in input. Confused and dissappointed, I headed home."

"-And then I appeared, from output again, and hour later."

Jenna looks at the other two Jennas.

"So I'm the third?"

The two Jennas look at each other.

"I hope so."

"I hope so."

...

The three Jennas stand and stare at each other for a moment awkwardly.

The third Jenna speaks up.

"So.... who's the "real" one?"

She warily questions them.

"Let's not talk about that please."

"Let's not go there, please."

The first and second Jenna look at each other for their similar answers, then awkwardly try to look in other directions.

"Oookay..? Did something happen between you?-"

"-Let's just get back to the lab before we have any more of me running around!" One of the two Jennas cut off her question

"Right, yeah. You're right let's go!" The third Jenna agrees.
