“…And that machine also spanked me. So it’s not the mansion we’re looking for,” Sally droned, staring off in the distance.

“I see. Then there was no apparition in the mansion?” the eerie man inquired.

“Nope. Just maids. Me and Grey. We’re good maids. I was a bad maid, but Grey made me good. Grey and the machines.”

Sally’s voice was monotone and distant, as though her mind was somewhere completely different. And her hands were placed on each of her lofty asscheeks, as though trying to protect them from danger. A danger that she was now intimately familiar with.

“I see. Then did you receive payment for your work? Though I don’t see anywhere that you could be hiding it in that tactless outfit of yours.”

“Good maids don’t work for money. They need no reward. Good maids work because it’s what good maids do. It’s the right thing to do. Good maids always do the right thing to do.”

“Why am I not surprised…” He sighed. “Sally.”

“Yes!?”

The indoctrinated maid snapped to attention, her eyes suddenly focusing on her companion and awaiting orders.

“How is your host doing?”

“I’m a good maid!” Sally declared in a noticeably different, higher-pitched voice.

“Just as traumatized, I see. Hmm…” The man stared thoughtfully at the young girl, who stared up at him obediently. “This is convenient. You’ll stay in that form for a while. We have many more mansions to investigate.”

“Yes sir.”

“There’s just one thing I need you to do.”

“Yes! What is it? I’ll do it!”

“Go back into the mansion and get that fancy dress of yours. I can’t be seen walking around with you the way you’re dressed. People will ask too many questions.”
