Does she pull away?
Not instantly
Amber stood still as his hand slowly continued down before it sat on her ass. She was so shocked she couldn't move.
"Amber, you're so beautiful. Just like your mother." He said, his voice sounding strange. His words were slurred and his breathing had deepened. He moved his head forward and buried his face in her hair. She was still frozen, unsure of how to react. She didn't want to offend him or cause him to snap at her, but she couldn't let this happen.
"A-A-and that's the problem, I'm not my mum." She stammered out, her body was stiff. He didn’t say anything but Amber could feel him sniff her hair. The smell of alcohol was overwhelming and Amber was scared of him getting violent.
"You should stop.” she said, trying her best to sound firm. "Matthew, please." Amber whispered, her body still stiff, she felt so uncomfortable, her step father was sniffing her hair.
Eventually she pushed him back, the feeling of his hands finally leaving her body. "What the fuck was that?" she screamed at him.
"I'm sorry Amber. I didn't mean to. I'm so sorry." He apologised.
"How could you do that! How could you touch me like that?"
"I'm so sorry, I-I-I wasn't thinking straight. I was drunk. Please Amber, don't tell your anyone. I-I-I'm sorry." He sobbed.
Amber shook her head. "I can't believe you did that."
She slowly walked away not turning back and headed upstairs, she could homer him following and apologising, but she kept going, not turning back.
She walked into her room, shut the door and locked it. She slid down and sat on the floor, her back against the door. She didn't want to leave the safety of her bedroom.
