He found all he needed and as such Set up shop so to speak, he Started with a Careful Cursory Examination of the Visible Tissue and Non-recent Wounds. He discovered that when exposed to light the Beasts Hide turned into a Translucent Yellow and Lime. He guessed the translucency came from the Beasts Silver Basilisk Parent. He then Took a portion of the Hide and ran some tests on it. Meanwhile he cut open the Basilisk's Belly to examine its inner Organs and Intestines.

The Beast was normal inside except that it ate one of its own, a Silver Basilisk, by the Look of it, the Silver Basilisk was Old and Female, clearly had birthed offspring previously, probably this fiends mother.

After finishing the Examine he documented his findings, and added them to his Book.
