Korack took the north path. Soon, he was reaching the tavern he saw from a distance.

BLUSHING DEER, was the name written on the sign on the entrance, with the carved image of a deer with a mug on his hand.

Korack doesn't minds it to much and simply walk inside. The place is surprisingly clean for a tavern. A fishman is on a corner, playing a song on a fiddle while a pair of dog-women sing as if they were one.

Korack walks to the bar, and a bulky ox is there, serving drinks.

"May I help you?" the ox said, looking at the newcomer. Korack looked around, and he decided to blend in a bit.

"A mug of your best brew." He said, pulling out a single coin with the head of king Claudus on it. The bull took it, and soon he was going to the back to "get it for you, sir". In the cartoon, the fall of Thundera caused those kinds of coins to lose all value. However, it hadn't happened yet, so those coins were still the more valuable currency of the continent. Enough for a single coin to get the hostile bull to immediately become more respectable and pouring the boar a mug of the best brew he had.

It was a good brew, as Korack could easily tell after a single sip from it. It was also strong, so Korack made sure not to overdo it, as he preferred to be somber in this tavern he didn't knew.

He looked around, and he saw some of the people who were in there.

In a table, a bunny was sitting all alone, eating food from a plate. He had a lute by his side as he ate. He could be a travelling minstrel, and these guys often traveled enough to know things.

On another table was a female feline. She looked out of place in there, but she looked quite comfortable as she drank from a cup. You catch a glimpse of a dagger and a crossbow under the mantle she is wearing, what lets you know that she is no helpless. A feline could know things about Thundera and about the travel of the two felines.

On the last table, there was a whole group. They were all dogs, and all of them had weapons and scars. It was easy to assume they are mercenaries. Maybe a little money could get them to give some information...
