Where does he decide to go?
North-West, as per the map
Based on what little he could make out on his poor excuse of a map, he was headed towards a little town known as Salynn. The scribbles proclaimed that this was 'where the guy lived'. Who's the guy? He didn't know. But, it was, somehow, his biggest lead.
After finding himself trekking through a forest, Robert began to feel the beginnings of hunger. And while he did have some bread, he'd rather have a bit more sustenance for his meal. Fortunately, he could see a light source up ahead, accompanied by the sounds of intelligent beings. His spirits raised. Maybe he wouldn't be so totally screwed any more.
It wasn't until he'd nearly breached the tree line that he noticed it was not quite a *civilized* encampment. It was goblins. The structures set up were poor and weak, there was bustling activity all over, many of the little bastards were being competitive, and the whole place reeked of piss.
Staying behind a tree, Robert used one of his only talents to survey the scene; limited darkvision. The outermost barriers were spikes planted in the dirt, with two or three slacking off goblins on each side. There was a heaping of loot laid out in a pile at the center; food, weapons, a large bag. Goblins milled about, stuffing their faces with food and ale, bashing each other for fun. There was about fourteen of them.
What should he do?
