Chapter 7 by Yellowjack42 Yellowjack42

food and play

Nom!

The trip to my house was relatively short, when I said only a few minutes of time I meant it. However, despite the short amount of time between us leaving our 'meeting spot' and the front door of my home, Tao's attraction and interest in me was blatantly obvious. She would rarely leave my side for more than a moment, instead deciding to stay close and periodically sniff me which was more than unsettling at times. Yet, despite the slightly unnerving actions Tao was quite sweet, her innocent mannerisms and her almost ever present smile something that I had come to associate with her charm.

Once home we settled in the kitchen, the bucket of chicken I had ordered gone in a flash between to two of us, Tao happily petting her full stomach with a wide paw. While I definitely had the lesser of the share of food I found it amusing how pleased Tao looked, her face scrunched up in a pleased grin as she licked her lips happily. Yet, just as everything passes Tao suddenly broke from her food haze, a playful glint in her eye as she looked at me, "Hey...Good Smell Guy..."

"What did I tell you about myyaaAAAH!" my words being effectively cut off by the scream that tore from my throat. The cause for my yell was quite easy to discern, Tao had jumped from her chair, pouncing onto me and driving me off my chair to the floor. "Nya ha ha!" Tao laughed at my surprise, a smooth feline purr in her voice as she looked at me, "Good Smell Guy is funny!"

Irritation built in me as I touched the back of my head, rubbing away the newly formed sore spot as Tao straddled me, "Ouch...my name is John first off...and could you not do that again Taokaka, I think I hit my head." Instantly Tao's mood went from amusement to worry, her face expressing her concern as her voice noticeably changed to a nervous tone, "R-really!? Tao is so sorry Good-eh...John, meow!" At the end of her words Tao leaned down her soft and warm tongue giving my cheek a lick before she began to nuzzle the side of my head, her purring toned down to a low whimpering rumble.

I defy anyone to stay mad at that for more than ten seconds, I certainly couldn't. "Ah it's alright Tao," I sighed, patiently patting the top of Tao's head to accentuate my words, "I guess I can forgive you." Tao's mood turned on a dime once more, her worry vanishing like shadows in the sun, a bright grin lighting up her face as she beamed down at me, "Yay! Can we play now Good Sme...John?" I chuckled to myself, apparently her habit of creating nicknames for people was too deeply ingrained for me to work out with a simple request. Oh well at least she was trying I suppose.

"Alright Tao," I said with a smile, still pinned between the floor and the feisty Kaka that was straddling my stomach, "what do you want to play?"

What's the game for the evening?
