You roll your eyes at how ridiculous the whole thing seems.

"I can't believe anyone is gullible enough to fall for this stuff" you scoff tossing everything back in the box "maybe I can put it on eBay. Might be worth a bit."

You dump the box in a corner and get on with your day, forgetting about it almost immediately. It's not until a few days layer that some else finds it and the real fun begins...
