Nobody, just stay put

Naruto may be a blockhead, but he had plenty of experience with Sakura and he knew Ino was almost the same when it came to temper tantrums. So he wisely recognized that going after any of them at the moment would only result in one or two black eyes and possibly bruises for him.

So, he opted to stay behind in the room and simply eat his lunch there and wait for his sensei. He was lucky, because his sensei was supposed to meet them in their old classroom, while the other teams had to go to other rooms. While he was there, eating his lunch, he chatted a bit with his friends. Like himself, they were a bit nervous about their new teams. Kiba was grouped up with Sasuke and Hinata, and already he was a little ticked at the Uchiha. Shikamaru on the other hand was grouped with Chouji and Shino, a team both he and his friend Chouji could easily accept.

However, lunch break didn't last long and so Naruto was alone in the room. It seemed Ino and Sakura were a little late for reasons unknown, because right on time, the door opened and a tall woman entered the room.

Naruto was left speechless: The woman that had just entered could certifiably be called beautiful. Long, curvy black hair, full red lips and matching eyes, a fully and nicely developed womanly body with long legs and a great cleavage, somewhat barely clothed by an intruiging wrapped dress.

And that woman turned to look at him, since he was the only one left in the room. A hand stemmed at the hip, she looked at him with a light smile on her face. "Your name is... Uzumaki Naruto, right?", she asked.

"Y-yeah...", Naruto answered, finding himself stuttering all of a sudden. How uncharacteristically of him.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Yuuhi Kurenai. I will be your jounin-sensei.", Kurenai introduced herself. Then she looked around the room, and, after seeing no one else, turned back to Naruto. "Say, do you know where Yamanaka Ino and Haruno Sakura are?", she asked him.

But Naruto could also only shrug his shoulders. "Dunno, they stormed out of the room a little while ago.", he answered. "So, Kurenai-sensei... umm, excuse me, but how old are you?", he hesitated a bit before answering her that. Even he knew that asking women things like that.

"Hmm, already doing introductions, huh?", she chuckled. "I am 24 years old, if you want to know. Yes, I am rather young for a jounin and to be honest, you will be part of my first team, that's why you asked, I presume.", she answered.

That wasn't what Naruto had intended to ask, but it was likely that she had misunderstood it after all. "Keep it to yourself, but I am pretty nervous right now...", she admitted to her student.

Finally, Narutos nervousness started to fade and he grinned at Kurenai. "Nah, don't worry about it, Kurenai-sensei, I'm sure you'll be great. I only asked for your age because you look really pretty.", he complimented her.

Kurenai seemed to be taken aback by those two compliments for a moment. "Thank you, Naruto.", said Kurenai softly with a gentle smile on her face.

Immediately after that, the door flung open and two very gasping kunoichi named Sakura and Ino wrestled about who entered first. Eventually, they entered and apologized for being later. Naruto could tell that they too were also quite taken in by Kurenai-sensei as their sensei.

Then came introductions. Naruto told about himself, his love of ramen and his crush on Sakura at first, which irritated Sakura of course but only made both Kurenai and Ino chuckle. That infuriated Sakura further to the point where she punched Naruto. Afterwards, first Ino then Sakura told them all over again about how they loved Sasuke.

Finally, it was Kurenais turn, and although she kept it brief, Naruto learned that she was single, liked the color red and flowers and was especially strong when it came to genjutsu.

After the first meeting, Kurenai told them to meet her at the training grounds in two hours and so the new three teammates went their ways to bide their time until the 'test' that Kurenai had apparently set up for them.
