After an awkward rendition of “happy birthday” her family left her alone to get ready for school.

As soon as they shut the door Izzy sprang out of bed and rushed over to her closet and put on a pair of pajamas and a robe. Once she was properly covered she sat at her desk and dug into her breakfast. She was enjoying her waffles so much that she lost track of time. She doesn’t have a lot of time but she refuses to go without a shower.

Izzy ran faster than she has ever ran before. She ran out of her room, down the stairs and into the bathroom. As soon as she arrived in the bathroom she realized she forgot her towel. She walked down the hall and checked the closet. It was empty. She’ll have to go all the way back upstairs and get one from her room. She’s going to be really late now. She shut the closet door and caught her reflection in the mirror.

She was completely naked. She looked down and confirmed it. She panicked and ran back to the bathroom but it was locked. She must’ve locked it on her way out.

“Dad has the paper come yet?” Izzy heard her brother Antonio ask. His footsteps were getting closer. Without thinking she rushed into her fathers study. Fortunately he wasn’t in there, but Antonio’s footsteps continued to get louder.

There wasn’t a lot of hiding spots in the study, just a large wooden desk and bookshelves. She knew her brother was on his way in and she had to do something.
