"Sure Lois, I'll be right with you. I just have something to finish here real quick."

Like put on my briefs!

"Ren, this is URGENT! We lost THOUSANDS the last time it crashed." Lois responded desperately.

I flashed a defeated smile and looked down at the briefs in my hand.

I can't carry them with me...

I discretely dropped them.

...so I'll hide them in my trash bin until later.

They landed on top of some old scraps of paper in the bin behind my desk.

"Ok, I'll head straight there."

"It's ok Ren, I'll close the door behind you, you should get going." Susan said.

This is completely CRAZY!! I'm about to walk through the entire office suite BOTTOMLESS!

I stepped into the corridor hesitantly. Lois' speed walking off ahead left me alone for a moment, other than Susan failing to be discreet about checking me out.
