"hey baa-chan you have a mission for me," I said as I stepped into my future office.

"yes," she said with a groan and a unhappy face.

"what is wrong," i asked.

"we made the right move contacting those connections of yours. the Uchiha almost had the daimyo ready to sign the marriage contract for the two of you when he got notification from several allies how they would be displeased with such a thing," said Baa-chan.

"isn't that a good thing," I said not sure why she would be upset.

"it is but the brat did such a good job convincing the daimyo that he did not want to discard the idea. then in his infinite wisdom he came up with a brilliant idea," she said as she pulled a Sake bottle and drank half the contents.

"why do I feel like I will need a sip as well," i said not liking the sound of this. the feeling did not get better when she threw a full bottle at me soft enough for me to catch it. she then finished off her bottle before grabbing another one.

"open trust me you will need it," she said.

shaking my head I opened it and took a small sip of it. I had tasted the toads sake so this was relatively mild in comparison. "so what is this idea," I asked taking another sip.

"he requested you and Sasuke guard the beach resort towards the southern end of fire country. from possible pirate invasion. he requested you two spend the month guarding the town and was kind enough to pay for you two to share a room in the five star hotel that sits right at the beach," she said.

Hearing this I quit taking small sips and started to pour the bottle down my throat. "so let me get this straight he wants me and Sasuke to guard a beach resort for a full month while sharing a room. is he hoping sparks will fly or something," I said after finishing the bottle off. she then handed me a new bottle.

"yes and since he specifically selected you two I have **** but to send you. and you cant just camp outside he is paying for the room himself so it would be a slap in the face if you did not use it. my suggestion make a huge bar tab for him to pay," Baa-chan said.

I let out a snort and said, "I'll think about it so when is this mission?"

"You two will leave here in three days and the month starts when you reach the village," she answered.

"never thought I would hope for pirates so much before," I said taking another gulp of the sake.
