"Baby... I'm going to say no on this one. I don't like the idea of a stranger, especially a guy, around the house with you alone." I say, seeing the excitement leave her eyes with every word.

"Well, okay, baby... If you don't trust me..." Cassandra replies, looking sad.

"No, baby, of course I trust you. That's not it. I don't know this guy, or really anyone in this town. Letting a stranger move in is just... dangerous. They could rob us blind, hurt you, something like that." I say, rubbing her back, trying to reassure her that I do trust her completely.

"Yeah, I guess I didn't really think about all of that... I understand." she says, giving me a slight smile, "But I do have another idea!"

"Oh? What's the idea, babe?" I ask, intrigued.
