"I am just really tuckered out honey. Can we do something maybe after supper or tomorrow?" Leah said as she crushed any of Jonathan's hopes. He resisted being visablly upset but nodded away.

"Alright honey that is fine." he said curtly. Leah knew she had pissed him off--and he had gone through the effort of that ridiculous costume. Even still--she had to focus on herself. She had to get her mind in the right place.

Supper came and went--but Jonathan didn't as Leah fell asleep in bed shortly after supper, a bath, and a glass of wine.
