Nightmare And Waking

You shut the bedroom door behind you with a nudge of your foot- trying not to wake Sarah. She feels light in your arms. The room is dimly lit with an orange lamp at the corner of the room, it's Amelia's. Amelia herself is in bed, sleeping soundly.

You carefully lay Sarah down onto your bed, the soft mattress comforts her into a deeper slumber. You reach into your pocket expectantly and find a few hundred bucks neatly folded for you. This amazing little wish still amazes you. Money doesn't make you happy, but damn does it solve a lot of problems....and open up alot of opportunities. Anyways- you shake the smirk off your face and slide the bills into the cleavage of Sarah's tits so she won't miss it when she wakes.

Looking to Amelia you tip toe over to check on her. It looks like she's fallen asleep hugging her phone. You move back a few strands of her hair and lean down to peck her cheek. She lightly moans in her sleep.

You pull her blanket and tuck her in. Today was a big day, but surely there is more to come and you know that this is only the beginning. You need to be prepared.

After giving Amelia another long look you turn around and slip into bed with Sarah. You lay next to her, your body feels the soft comfort of mattress and finally gives in. Sleep takes you gently into it's arms.

A loud slap hits your face. You stumble back. Your breath draws heavy.

You're home. Your real home. There is a sting on your cheek, it burns. Your head spins and your vision blurs. No one's hit you this hard before....

Your eyes look back to the man standing before you....your father. You can't make out his features, but you do know they're like your's.

His hand raises again, but instead of bracing you look down to your hand in which a warm red pool begins to form.

"What have you DONE!?" His voice shouts out at you enraged and angered. You can feel your face heat up in his presence. "Your mother....your SISTER!!!"

SLAP.

You turn with the impact of the slap, it's painful. On the wall is a shattered mirror. A tired young man stares back. It's you. You can't stand to look at yourself....

"Jun? Are you....okay?"

You open your eyes. This is the ceiling....of your room. You are home. Your home, your reality, your bed.

Laying beside you is Amelia. Her hand is held up to your forehead. Her face extremely close to yours. In front of you is Sarah. Her cheek is pressed onto your upper thigh and her hands dig into your boxers, she freezes when she realizes she's been caught.

Amelia wipes your brow with the back of her hand. "You were breathing hard and sweating in your sleep...."

"Oh....yeah, sorry....bad dreams. Small nightmare, I'm okay though." You reply and let out a relieved sigh. Relaxing, a realization hits you, you were tense and clenching your entire body. You're sore.

Amelia looks to Sarah and Sarah looks back, still frozen. Then Amelia speaks to you with a raised brow. "A dream? One those dreams right?"

You nod and lift yourself up.

"Boss, do ya want a blowie from us again?" Sarah cuts in without much hesitation pointing to her tongue.

"Slut." Amelia whispers to the side, a shaming but ultimately harmless poke at Sarah. Sarah doesn't seem to mind.

"Umm....no, I uhh....I think I'm good for the moment, thanks though Sarah. I appreciate it. I'll go shower and clean up." You say and get off of the bed.

Sarah and Amelia just shrug to each other as you exit the room with your head hung low. Your joints hurt and your muscles aching.

That dream reminded you of some bad stuff. Your conversation with Kara must've stirred up something inside you. That dream, you can't exactly remember why he was so mad. Your mother and sister, Ayako and Ameko. What happened exactly?

Your father....he had a lot of expectations for you, a lot of hope, but he was never there to do anything for it.

You enter the bathroom and begin to wash up.

He left your mother to raise two kids alone, it was despicable to say the least. You despised him for it and even after that, he acted as if he was still a part of the family.

You stick a toothbrush into your mouth and begin to brush your teeth.

Why did he leave anyways? What was his reasons?....Actually, you can think of a few. He was the Crowned wasn't he?

You click your tongue and wipe off some foam from the toothbrush.

Did he get swept up in some Crowned business? Why did he divorce your mother? If he wished that reality into being then shouldn't his family be his top priority? The perfect reality in which one makes would reasonably have family worth caring for right? You can't imagine a situation in which a man wouldn't want a perfect family. One in which they would love and protect. Why even marry Ayako in the first place if he isn't going to follow through with it? She worked so hard to support the family you in his absence to the point that she was constantly on the verge of collapsing.

SNAP.

You open your palm realizing you've just snapped your toothbrush in half.

"Fuck...." You whisper to yourself and take a deep breath. Your chest tightens and fights you as you try to intake air.

You feel so conflicted. There must be a good reason why he left, right?

You need to calm down....what happened happened. Whatever his reasonings are there isn't any point in questioning it. He left and that's what matters.

The things Kara told you yesterday about you killing him....memories you don't remember, you instead need to get to the bottom of what happened that day you became the Crowned. For your missing girlfriend and your friends that fell.

You chuck the broken toothbrush into the trash and dry your face with a towel.

Right now things are clearer than before and there are people that are willing to help you on the things that you don't know. You're not alone.
