Next Step, Human Testing

"Research note, day....uh...year two. Substance 'Alter-Estrogen' is a complete success." I monologue to my tape recorder I use to keep notes on the progress of the experiment. I'm far from being an official scientist, just a nutjob in his basement with a dream, but damn would my high school AP Bio teacher be proud of me.

Len- Laura was of course affectionate towards me since I got her a number of months back, knowing I'd need to run animal trials before running the experiment on Chloe. But now? "Research note, approximately one week after last note. After testing the process on three more rats, the change in biology remains the same, however so does the side effect of their adoration. Don't worry, Chloe. Soon your nightmare will be a distant memory.

The next day, I called up Chloe. "Hey, it's good to hear from you. How've you been?" She greeted in her typical bubbly voice. A sweet high register that comes from her voice training.

"Oh yeah, you know I've been busy working on.... something. Something for you, actually." I said, a smile forming on my face. She let out a soft chuckle. "For me? What is it? Oh! Is it a surprise?!" She asked energetically.
